Our Story

Two names. One promise.

JuliaBri Collective wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born at a kitchen table in a small Cuban-American home, in a hospital room full of laughter, and in every quiet moment Brittany ever whispered, "keep going."

Julia

Abuela · Cuba

Long before there was a boutique, there was a woman named Julia — Brittany's abuela. A Cuban woman who arrived in this country with little more than her hands, her faith, and a fierce belief that her family would build something beautiful one day.

Abuela Julia didn't speak in lectures; she spoke in mornings. Cafecito at sunrise. A pressed dress laid out the night before. A reminder, in soft Spanish, that "una mujer con propósito nunca se cansa" — a woman with purpose never gets tired.

She taught Brittany the unglamorous side of dreaming: showing up. Doing the work. Trusting that the small, daily acts of care — the hem stitched twice, the customer remembered by name, the candle lit before the door opens — are what build something that lasts.

"Mija, hazlo con amor, o no lo hagas." — do it with love, or don't do it at all.

Bri

Sister · Brianna

And then there was Brianna — Bri — Brittany's sister, her mirror, her best friend. Bri was born with cerebral palsy, and from the very beginning her body asked her to fight for things the rest of us take for granted. She fought, and she laughed, and she lit up every room she rolled into.

Bri couldn't always do the things she dreamed of doing. So Brittany made a quiet promise as a little girl: I will live for both of us. I will try on the dress. I will take the trip. I will start the business. I will say yes to the loud, bright, beautiful life — and I will bring you with me, in every single thing I make.

Bri taught Brittany that joy is not a luxury — it's a discipline. That style is not vanity — it's a way of saying I am still here, and I am not done yet. Every dress on this site, every candle, every piece chosen with care, carries a little of Bri's spark. The colors she loved. The softness she deserved. The boldness she always had.

"If she couldn't do it, I would. And I'd do it twice as bright."— Brittany

That's why we exist.

JuliaBri Collective is named for the two women who built Brittany before Brittany ever built anything herself. Julia, who taught her that purpose outlasts exhaustion. Bri, who taught her that joy is the whole point.

Every piece we curate is chosen with the same question in mind: would Julia be proud of how it was made? Would Bri feel beautiful wearing it? If the answer to both is yes, it earns a place in the collection.

This isn't just a boutique. It's a tribute. A thank-you note stitched in silk and salt-air. A promise to keep showing up — for them, for Brittany, and for every woman who walks through these (digital) doors believing she's allowed to take up beautiful space in the world.

For Julia. For Bri. For you.
